Calling all dreamers! Calling all healers! This will be a short post. I want to save the world. If you’re reading my stuff, you probably want to do that too. I have an idea for how we can do it, but we need to move a lot faster than our busy 21st-century consumer capitalist lifestyles will permit. This means that the only way we can pull it off is if the idea includes a plan for how we can support ourselves and our families while doing the work that the world is asking of us right now. This week I’m launching my 6-week course “Befriend the Change,” about the connection between personal growth work and social change. Think of it like an introductory college-level course about everything this society is not supposed to teach us how to do if it wants to continue barreling through the sixth mass extinction and into oblivion. The thing is, I haven’t actually figured out how to convince people to pay for it yet, but I so strongly believe in the value of what I’m offering, that I’m moving forward anyway. So if you have received anything of value from me, and if you have any interest in maximizing your impact on the direction that humanity is heading in, and you’re willing to spend the next few weeks with me and some like-minded humans to see if we can save the world, send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Scholarships are available. Calling all humans! For details about the course, visit nauserbear.com/events.
Upcoming Course – Thursdays, 12-1pm PST, May 20 – June 30, 2021: “Befriend the Change – A 6-week course uncovering the connection between personal growth work and social change”
Are you distressed by all the division and conflict that exists between people today? Do you find yourself avoiding “touchy subjects” like COVID, systemic racism, and climate change with certain family members or friends? Does all this leave you feeling hopeless for humanity’s future? On May 1, 1992, Rodney King asked, “Can we all get along?” Today, 29 years later, it seems like the answer is no. But what if the solution to humanity’s problems were actually simpler than you thought? On May 20, 2021, join us for a six-week online course on how personal growth and healthy relationship skills can save the world. Befriend the Change. Click here for more info.
